Downloads - a "free stuff"

The sample sets which are available for free download below are offered as subsets of the full versions of the respective sample sets. The quality of the sampleset is the same as in the full version (i.e. 24-bit, 48kHz). The demo limitation consist in having only a small selection of stops available for each instrument. These small sample sets may be used for testing the sample set in your environment. When testing the sample set, please do not forget to:

1. switch off the MIDI velocity sensitivity in Hauptwerk General settings, especially if your hardware keyboard does not support MIDI velocity sensitivity.

2. switch on the wind model whenever possible,

3. use the dedicated temperament charts where available. The so called "Original Organ Tuning" in Hauptwerk is really the original tuning of the organ at the moment of the recording, which may be often a little rough, containing all the casual tuning errors which occurred during the recording session.

Krzeszow DEMO sample set

• demo limitations - small selection of stops available, limited to the front (wet) ranks - no surround. However, a care was taken that this mini instrument may still be used as a small stand-alone full featured organ, especially if the BrustW and the HauptW are coupled together to one Werk.

• demo limitations: wet sample set only (no surround), playback limited to a small selection of several stops of G.O.

St. Maximin DEMO sample set

• demo limitations: full quality wet and surround, a selection of 10 stops from the Positif only, original version only, no extensions. The limited stop list (usable as a single manual complete organ):
• Montre, Bourdon, Prestant, Doublette, Quarte, Nasard, L'Arigot, Fourniture, Trompette, Cornet.

Smecno DEMO sample set

• demo limitations: wet and surround only, 10 stops in the manual, 3 pedal stops. The demo sample set features only the renaissance organ after the reconstrution. No Rückpositiv, no before the reconstruction sound. These features are available in the full version. The full version offers also the dry version of the sample set, in addition to the wet and surround one.

Prague Baroque DEMO sample set

• demo limitations: full great organ including the extension reed stops, truncated compass (two middle octaves only), no positiv, no pedal stops. The samples are encrypted and so they will NOT load in the demo version of Hauptwerk.

Zlata Koruna DEMO sample set

• demo limitations: 4 stops from the great organ, 1 stop from the positiv, 1 stop from the pedal, full features organ console: together forming a small stand-alone instrument! Wet version only.

Freiberg DEMO sample set (v.2)

•  demo limitations: 5 selected stops, though available in all the versions: dry, wet and surround for testing. The stops are selected from the great organ: Principal 8', Octava 4', Octava 2', Mixtur, Trumpet.Samples are encrypted and they will not load in the free version of Hauptwerk.

   

Velesovo DEMO sample set

• demo limitations: a small selection of stops. Nevertheless, this selection is made so that it may be used as a small, 2 manual stand-alone organ. After downloading the big package, please download and install also this small package to be able to run the virtual organ.

• demo limitations: a small selection of stops. The selection has been done so that specimena of various colors of the full instrument are heard. This demo sample set can be even used as a small stand-alone organ. The wet and surround versions available in the demo set.
