Zwolle Schnitger Organ Model - convolution of the Dry
version using Zwolle IR's
The IR's were designed especially for the Zwolle Dry sample set. You can
download the demo version of the IR's from our web.
The midi performance of Bruhn's Praeludium was convolved using all the
available IR's in the set (i.e. different pair of impulses for each the
division).
Zwolle Schnitger Organ Model - preliminary demos comparing all versions of
the sample set
The table below present various outputs you can get using the Zwolle sample
set.
- Column 1: the demo pieces are available either in mp3 (wma) or in wave
format. Wave files are rar-archived for download.
- Column 2: the Zwolle Dry sample set. Hauptwerk output without any
further changes.
- Column 3: Zwolle Dry sample set convolved with a impulse response
of a cathedral. Caution: It is not the impulse response of the Zwolle
church! It is just an impulse response I liked. The convolution presents the
"front" audio channels. Using different impulse responses, you can virtually
move the instrument into different spaces.
- Column 4: The same as above Zwolle Dry sample set, but this time
a different IR was used to model the
"rear" audio channels.
- Column 5: The output obtained in the col. 3+4 was assembled into one
multichannel audio file. It can be played back only on systems capable of
handling the 5.1 audio format. The surround files are encoded with
the Adobe Audition Surround Encoder, using the Windows Media Audio Lossless - VBR Quality 100 encoder. The order of channels is: 1-FrontLeft, 2-FrontRight,
3-Center (not used), 4-LFE, 5-LeftSurround, 6-RightSurround. Be sure your
surround audio system matches the channels correctly.
- Column 6: Zwolle Wet sample set, without any additional reverb.
- Column 7: Zwolle Surround sample set, only the rear samples were
used! (The corresponding front recordings are available in the col. 6)
- Column 8: Zwolle Surround sample set, using the front and the
rear Hauptwerk output assembled into one multichannel audio file.
The Zwolle Meantone Tuning scheme was used to record the demo pieces.
